Yoga for men, a course designed to increase men’s flexibility, stability, sports performance, mindfulness, and overall stress-relief.

Men often have misconceptions that yoga is only for women; or that one has to be flexible to do yoga, etc. Flexibility is an outcome of yoga, not a prerequisite. You do not have to be flexible to do yoga; it’s actually the most basic postures—not the fancy positions—that provide you with the foundation of flexibility and strength that every man needs.

Why should men do yoga?

Men’s Fitness Magazine and U.S. News report that yoga has many benefits:

– Improves Digestion, Food Cravings, Creativity and Overall Brain
– Functioning Boosts Immunization
– Improves Quality of Sleep
– Better Quality and Quantity of Sexual Intimacy
– Relieves Stress

About Vinyasa Flow Yoga

Vinyasa, like all yoga styles, originated from Hatha yoga. The term vinyāsa refers to the alignment of movement and breath, which turns static asanas (poses) into a dynamic flow. Modern Vinyasa flow yoga (also known as power yoga and flow) is best described as freestyle Ashtanga. Vinyasa is all about continuous movement and breath.

In vinyasa yoga classes, students coordinate movement with breath (pranayama) to flow from one pose to the next. It’s sweaty, powerful, connected and can allow for a yogi to have a very deep and even spiritual experience.

This course is designed for all levels, beginners and experienced. Class is given in English by certified Yoga instructor Ying Guo with 9 years teaching experience.

NB! Vi forutsetter minimum fire deltakere påmeldt for at kurset blir gjennomført.

NB! Mulig ventetid for å komme inn i badet:
Pga koronasituasjonen kan vi kun slippe inn 200 personer av gangen i badet. Det kan dermed oppstå ventetid når det er fullt. Vi må også begrense antall personer samtidig i garderoben og i øvrig anlegg.
